Formed in Scotland in 1972, Linn started as a manufacturer of what was to become one of the most significant pieces of Hi-Fi: The Linn Sondek LP12 turntable. Still in production to this day, it has gone through several retrofit able upgrades, and is still regarded as an analogue benchmark. Linn now produces every aspect of the audio chain. Complete Linn systems, still built in Scotland, are highly regarded for their pitch accurate musicality. Linn has always been an innovative company and boldly decided to stop producing CD players in 2009 in favour of Digital Streaming Devices. Our reference source.
